Earnly Privacy Policy

Earnly ("the app", "we", "us") is an hours, pay and tip tracker for iPhone. We built it so that your work data stays with you. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Earnly.

1. The short version

• We do not collect personal data. We have no servers, no user accounts and no database of users.
• Your shifts, tips, jobs and settings are stored on your device, and in your own private iCloud only if you turn on sync.
• No analytics, no advertising, no tracking.
• In-app purchases are handled by Apple. RevenueCat helps us validate purchases and receives limited, anonymous purchase-related data (see section 4).

2. Data stored on your device

Everything you enter in Earnly (jobs, pay rates, shifts, breaks, tips, tip-outs, pay-period settings, differential rules, goals, deduction percentage, preferences) is stored locally on your iPhone and in its widgets. We cannot see or access it. Deleting the app deletes this data from the device.

3. iCloud sync (optional, Earnly Pro)

If you turn on iCloud sync, your Earnly data is stored in your private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit. This data belongs to your Apple Account and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We cannot read it. You can turn off sync at any time in the app, and manage or delete iCloud data in your device's Settings.

4. In-app purchases and RevenueCat

Earnly Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. Payment is processed entirely by Apple; we never receive your name, email address or payment details.

We use RevenueCat, Inc. to validate purchases and to know whether Pro is unlocked. For this purpose RevenueCat receives:

• an anonymous, randomly generated app user ID (not linked to your name or email);
• purchase receipts and transaction data (such as product, purchase date and transaction identifiers);
• device model and operating system version;
• app version;
• country / App Store storefront;
• the IP address used for the network request.

5. No analytics, advertising or tracking

Earnly contains no advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs and no tracking. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.

6. Notifications

Reminders ("forgot to clock out?", payday morning notice, weekly summary) are local notifications created on your device. They are not sent through any server. You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings.

7. Calendar access

Earnly asks for Calendar access only if you choose to export shifts to Calendar (Earnly Pro). It requests write-only access to add events; it does not read your existing calendar events.

8. Exports

PDF and CSV timesheet exports are created on your device. They leave your device only if you choose to share or save them somewhere, for example via the iOS share sheet.

9. Children

Earnly is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). Because we do not collect personal data, we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. Your data is under your control on your device and in your iCloud. For data processed by RevenueCat in connection with purchases, you can contact us and we will help with your request.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the app gains new features. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, mention them in the app's release notes.
